O2 Xphone
The
O2 Xphone is a Windows-based Smartphone that combines
the best features of a powerful PDA device with the
convenience of a mobile phone.
At first, the O2 Xphone looks a little large at 150x50x24
mm and 130 grams, but this is pretty typical for a Smartphone.
The Xphone is a tri-band GSM phone with GPRS, and
you can connect it to a PC with either a cable, infra-red
or through Bluetooth. There's 32Mb RAM available to
the user, expandable through the SD card slot, and it
can also support SDIO peripherals.
The screen size on the Xphone is a fairly large 176x220
pixels, and the Xphone comes with a VGA resolution camera
with video recording facilities.
The key strength of any Windows-based phone is the
software package, and the Xphone comes with Pocket Outlook,
Windows Media Player, Pocket Internet Explorer, ActiveSync
and Instant Messaging applications. If you're used to
a Windows-based PDA, then the applications should be
quite familiar.
Available from Gadgets.com.au
and MobileFly.
